I had a pair of the Align leggings, which I loved, but they had not worn well between the crotch (I don't have a thigh gap much to my chagrin). I wore them heaps during my pregnancy because of the forgiving, stretchy waist band which came in handy! I took the Align leggings in to the Queens Street LuLu in Brisbane to ask about the condition, and they sweetly said that this pair wasn't up to their standard and that I should pick out another pair for an exchange. Talk about excellent customer service - I was blown away. I didn't plan on shopping that day though, so I was suddenly pressured to find something else to take home that I would love. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed, so I asked for help after giving a Lulu staff member my criteria. I wanted a long legging that was breathable, had a high waist and would feel soft like the Align. I was given three to try, these were the winner. Why I Love Them These pants have the silky, "naked feel" of the Align, but they are thicker and better made, which means no pilling. The actually call it the "Nulux" fabric which is a quick-dry material. High waist: Check! They are soft to the touch and hug you in, without making you too hot or sweaty. And my fav feature you ask? POCKETS you guys! I. Love. Pockets. I love them on dresses, but I'm obsessed with them on leggings because they are functional and the stitching accentuates your curves. They look great with runners or flip flops and are perfect from the studio, to the street, to brunch with the girls. They are very flattering and not see-through in the slightest. Like I said, Lulu gracious let me swap mine out, so to be honest, I wouldn't normally jump at the $139 price tag. But, now that I've tried them and I know how great they are, I will buy them in the future. A lot of people say Lulu leggings are an investment, and I would have to agree. Happy shopping ladies!
