I'm halfway through reading this compilation of essays from humorous women and it's really entertaining. I appreciate the different writing styles and subject matter immensely. I'm excited to read the rest of the series. (Non-Fiction) Final verdict, 3.5/5 My friend Rachel lent me this book, and I'm so glad she did. I'm only 1/18th of the way through realistically, but it's so insightful and the information is presented in a very non-threading way that isn't fear based. I am thrilled to be reading it now, before the baby comes, rather than frantically trying to make time to read or hunt for dog-eared pages with the information later. (Parenting) Also, a read in progress!
Kaz's book is broken down into weeks of gestation. Each week I read a chapter and then I eagerly wait until the following Wednesday (when I advance another week in my pregnancy), to read more. Kaz is VERY honest, humorous and doesn't hold punches when it come to the not so glamorous aspects of pregnancy. She also presents information in a productive manner without instilling fear into the reader. (Parenting) Final Verdict: 5/5 Also, this makes a great gift for an expectant, first time mother!
